How the locals use their motorcycles

The roads of Cambodia are a perfect example of organized chaos. The majority of the vehicles on these twisty, chaotic roads are motorcycles and scooters, and the locals use them to their fullest potential.
It was stunning to see how the locals used these small modes of transportation to move such large, delicate, or even cumbersome items around the city to their final destination.
During our trip there were hundreds of examples of these bikes being used in the same way we would use pickup trucks back home. With the speed that they zoomed past, I was only able to get my camera out in time to capture a few instances of the crazy cargo.
Not only were motorbikes used as pickup trucks but also as family vans. I couldn't believe my eyes as I watched these tiny bikes with families of up to five riding on them to their destinations.
Absolutely incredible and a little too squished for my comfort but they make it work. Keep your eyes peeled as you travel around for these unique sights. Happy exploring!
