While our journeys take us to great destinations, we also need our gear to stand up to the challenging conditions we come across. Kuhl, an outdoor clothing company saw our outdoor adventure style and said that their products would take on the challenge.
KÜHL's catalog of products offers a variety of options with many selections for seasoned hikers. I picked the Women's KÜHL Trekr™ Pant in Charcoal to hike with for a few days and put them to the test.

The first test was a hike in the heat along the Smith Creek Trail System in the Okanagan.
After hiking uphill for 2 hours in the summer heat, we made it to an open area for the view of Okanagan lake. When it comes to outdoor adventures, having the right gear can make all the difference. Even when we reached the viewpoint and were fully exposed to the sun, the pants remained breathable and provided great sun protection.
The Trekr pants come equipped with multiple pockets. A total of 6 pockets, two snap-back pocekts on the back, two normal pockets on the front, and two zippered pockets on the side, mid-thigh. I found them to be convenient storage of essentials like your phone, keys, and snacks, ensuring that you have everything you need at your fingertips while on the trail.

I found the KÜHL Trekr Pants to be designed with the modern explorer in mind. The fabric is durable and lightweight, making the pants easy to pack and quick to dry. Not only does the fabric withstand the rigours of hiking, but it also offers exceptional comfort throughout our journey.
The views were spectacular, and the KÜHL Trekr Pants kept me comfortable in the heat and sun. I found the pants fit true to size, and the sizing guide on the website was accurate, providing peace of mind when ordering online. The pants also feature a drawstring waistband, and the legs can be shortened into capris by pulling a cord on the side.
The next challenge for these pants came on the Bridal Falls trail, where light rain and cool temperatures proved to be no match for them. With features such as moisture wicking and UPF 50+ protection, I found them to be a great choice for varying weather conditions.
